[Mnbird] Sad nesting day, Dakota Co

I love house wrens and their cheery singing; I especially appreciate it when I'm gardening and their song on a branch overhead gives me pause to be grateful for summer months and growing things.  Here's an interesting perspective:  https://www.audubon.org/news/the-house-wren-unjustly-accused

Two unhappy nesting events today: 


1. A gray squirrel kicked a White-breasted Nuthatch pair out of their nest hole in an old oak tree.


2. A House Wren rattled at me from a brush pile. Let their killing begin. Ugh.
