"We have Freeborn Lake, Freeborn County in drawdown this summer and just managed to create a new rim of fresh mudflat as the rains have eased a bit.  The shorebirds are gathering (and Franklin's gulls, one of my favorites).  Just thought I would drop you a line in case you had folks looking for this type of birding opportunity "
