[Mnbird] Sandhill Cranes

Yesterday approx. 60 Sandhill cranes passed overhead, Northwest to southeast. I don't hear so good anymore, still that sound registered and directed my glance.


Today, the StarTribune features a wonderful photo of the thousands of Sandhills at Sherburne NWR. Yet somehow the caption writer completely overlooks the Bald Eagle dead center in the picture apparently feeding on the remains of something.
