[Mnbird] Great Horned Owl Bunny Dinner

Here are a few photos my neighbor took of a Great Horned Owl January midnight dinner two nights ago. From left to right: 

The owl left the head and part of the carcass behind (as they often do) 

The owl attempts to consume or eat part of the carcass. 

The owl moves the carcass 

The owl is airborne, flying toward the southwest apparently having trouble getting airborne. You can see the trail left by the rabbit's back feet in the snow until the owl suddenly gains altitude. 

Crows are cleaning up the crime scene today. Earlier I saw crows chasing a Cooper's hawk which had some small creature in its drooping talons.
