[Mnbird] Sad discovery

This was sad for me to hear. I too am very fond of Brown Creepers. I have seen one frequently this month. I too have never seen more than one at a time until last week when I saw two climbing a large Red Oak. From the house I was only able to get a photos of one because by the time I focused the other had gone its merry way.
So Don there is hope for you that another will appear shortly.
