[Mnbird] crow visits

After decades of having a bird bath in my front yard, crows have discovered it this season. And they are leaving body parts of birds they catch in the bird bath! I can't think of any way to discourage them, other than leaving the bird bath dry for a while. Beside being gross, I suspect it could spread disease. Any suggestions you have are welcome.
