There are links to various maps of Carver Park reserve and the roads
around it at
<https://www.threeriversparks.org/page/park-map-pdfs>. It's been a while
but I
used to bike there from Hopkins. The bike path enters the reserve from
the southeast,
and my recollection is that sometimes on the way out in the early
evening I would see
bobolinks over the grassy area near where the bike or walking paths
converge between
Steiger and Schutz Lakes. I'm looking at the summer map from the link
above and
there is a road labeled Park Drive which enters alongside the bike path
and leads to
several parking areas near there.
