There are links to various maps of Carver Park reserve and the roads
around it at <br>

been a while but I <br>
used to bike there from Hopkins. The bike path enters the reserve
from the southeast, <br>
and my recollection is that sometimes on the way out in the early
evening I would see <br>
bobolinks over the grassy area near where the bike or walking paths
converge between <br>
Steiger and Schutz Lakes. I'm looking at the summer map from the
link above and <br>
there is a road labeled Park Drive which enters alongside the bike
path and leads to <br>
several parking areas near there. <br>

I usually see them at Carver Park Reserve in Victoria. The road,
I forgot the # of it, from Waconia, where I live, is on the left
before entering the City of Victoria. There is a house on one
corner and a Dairy Queen I think on the right side where you turn
left. About 3/4 mile down is a church. You go about 2-3 miles
to the entry road to Carver Park, which is marked. Take a right
at the main entry and park immediately at the small lot past the
gate. Cross the road on foot, heading west, to find a paved
walking path, which goes through a wide grassy area bordered on
edges by trees. The path goes about 3 or 4 miles in a circle.
It is along this walking path I have found them. I haven’t been
there yet this year. You can also access this road from Hwy 7 on
the north, and as I mentioned, I’m forgetting the # of it.
