<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>May 8, 2016<BR> <BR>Minnesota Valley National 1Wildlife Refuge<BR>Bloomington Visitor Center<BR>Bird Walk Summary<BR>8:00 - 10:30 am<BR> <BR>The birding began very slowly on this walk, with very few birds along the upper trails by the Visitor Center. But picked up along the Hill side trail and the Long Meadow Lake trail. 12 species of Warblers were seen or heard, Including Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Golden-winged, Blue-winged, Black-and-white, Nashville and Black-throated Green Warbler. A few Sparrows were also observed, but many of the nesting birds have yet to arrive.
