Hyland Park Reserve, Sumac Knoll, Bloomington - 5/4/2023, 1:00 p.m.—— Heard a loud, lengthy (possibly plagiarized) solo performance. Thought it likely was a Gray Catbird. Got eyestrain trying to locate it in the shrubby brush. Then finally there it was, perched high up in a maple tree in plain view, giving a bravura performance: a Brown Thrasher!
