[Mnbird] Distant shorebird at 180th St. marsh in Dakota County -- any guesses?

What you have found is one of the large plovers.  It appears to be a golden
plover from the brown of the back and what looks like a smaller bill. What
we see here would be the American Golden Plover. The American Golden
Plovers come through earlier than the Black-bellied Plover and this would
be about the right time to find them here. It would be too early for a
Black-bellied Plover. It was ID'd at 180th St. as an American Golden Plover
by Yasushi Nakagawa yesterday. One was also reported the day before by two
birders at Lake Byllesby.
