[Mnbird] A Fun Sighting

This morning, near the intersection of Niles and Macalaster in St. Paul, I
saw a bobwhite walking down the sidewalk. I got quite close to it, before
it turned and walked up some steps into a backyard and disappeared into a
garden.

I suspect that this bird had escaped from captivity, but it didn't seem
like anyone in the area was keeping wild fowl. Also, since a few years ago
I saw a yellow rail in a front yard not far from here, I'm never that
surprised at what I might see in the city.

At any rate, it was really fun to see.
