Several lesson here.
#1. You can not sex Juncos by plumage color. Both sexes can have either
color,
#2. Sexing Juncos (Dark eyed species) is done by wing chord
#3 Within 3 weeks of seeing the first Junco there will be SNOW ! Mark my
words.
