[Mnbird] Song Sparrow, Crosby Park, St. Paul

Some of today's winter residents at Crosby Park, such as the Brown Creepers
along the central river trail, were expected; likewise, the few dozen
Robins foraging in the springs at the base of the bluff trail that borders
the larger lake.
Less expected was the lone (fool?)hardy Song Sparrow feeding alongside the
Robins. It was observed for some minutes, sorting through and foraging
under the leaves that dot the wet areas. It will be interesting to see how
it weathers the up-coming cold.
