A 2nd flock of birders has joined the Burroughs Birders in S. Minneapolis, Hennepin Co.

This combined 4th/5th grade group was spotted today along Minnehaha Creek tracking down fall migrants.

Rumor has it they “kicked tail” and spotted more birds (number-wise) than Monday’s 5th grade club.

Highlights include:
White Throated sparrow
Yellow-rump
BC Chickadee
Nuthatch
Downy Woodpecker
Mallard

Way to go, birders!

Thank you, birding community, for all your support.
