[Mnbird] fall sparrows

I saw about 30 or 40 fall sparrows at Carver Park yesterday. They were in heavy cover on the ground feeding mostly on aquatic knot weed (smart weed}. They held tight to the cover until I stepped into it and would only fly when I was about three or four yards from them. Only identified one for sure: a white throated sparrow. I would have walked right past them about 10 feet away if I hadn’t flushed them out.
