At Whitewater today the ducks were very skittish, nothing unusual. When first entering from Weaver, Wild Turkeys were as close to lekking as it gets: 6 males in full regalia and 33 others.
Two Trumpeter Swans were in the first ponds. Road closed signs are up -:).
Near the Beaver Cemetery there was a flock of juncos with way too much red among them....a mixed flock including singing Fox Sparrows. In the same area...were a pair of unpainted silent Sandhill Cranes , Belted Kingfisher, and E. Phoebe. At the Park HQ there were still Purple Finch, a poorly marked White-throated Sparrow, and one Fox Sparrow among local suspects.
No Peregrine seen today.
